Screw a rawhide lace securely into the end of this Stainless Steel Threader (coarse internal threads grip the rawhide like a vise). For thicker laces simply shave off some of the leather at an angle then thread the lace into the holder.
Works amazingly well, every softball or baseball coach should have one.
